JOHN'S PHOTOS FOR THE WEEK

This week for my photos, Abington MA's two stations..

I am always looking for photos of old Stoneham (Mass) apparatus, incidents or members for my personal collection if anyone can help. A digital scan is perfectly fine, I don't need an original as long as the scan is big enough to print out. I also can scan photos, slides and negatives and then give them back to you if that is easier. CLICK FOR EMAIL.

Truck 1 and truck 4 got into position to attempt to open the roof, but solar panels were on the roof nearest the heaviest fire. Crews advanced multiple lines into the building and attacked the fire. Truck repositioned the stick and was able to get a spot so crews could cut holes in the roof. The fire was knocked down within 30 mins. Springfield Arson and Bomb are investigating the fire. Also 2 brand new “probies” caught their 1st fire at this location. 9 people displaced and no injuries reported. The next 2 photos are also from this fire.
