South Hadley, MA Dist 1 Deputy Chief Tim Loftus retired after 33 years on the job. Tim will be the last Deputy Chief of the department, since the restructuring of the ranks has eliminated that position.

The Plymouth County Technical Rescue Team worked for several hours to free this horse who fell through a rotted floor at 158 Brook Street in Hanson MA on July 14, 2010. The horse had to be euthanized due to the extent of her injuries.
