2021 RHODE ISLAND APPARATUS DELIVERIES

Barrington, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2020 Ford F-550/Life Line 4X4 ambulance for Rescue 1.

Bristol, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2021 Spartan/Smeal pumper for Engine 2. It features a 1500 GPM pump, 750 gallon water tank and was built with an overall height of 8 feet 7 inches to fit in the fire station. Posted in July.

Central Falls, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2021 Dodge Ram 5500/Horton 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 1. Posted in August.

Cranston, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2021 Dodge Ram 4500/Frazer ambulance for Rescue 3. Posted in July.

East Greenwich, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2021 E-One Typhoon pumper w/ 1500 GPM pump, 750 gallon water tank and 30 gallon foam tank. It will be assigned to Engine 1. Posted in March.

East Providence has taken delivery of a 2021 E-One Typhoon-Metro 100' RMA for Ladder 1. The company had been using a 1996 E-One 110' RMA that was previously operated by Durham, NH. That unit will be retained as a spare.

Exeter, Rhode Island District 2- has taken delivery of a 2021 Pierce Enforcer PUC 1500/1000/40F CAFS for Engine 13. Posted in March.

Harmony Fire (Gloucester, Rhode Island)- recently took delivery of a 2020 Dodge Ram 5500/Braun 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 2. Posted in March.

Narragansett, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2021 Ferrara Igniter 1250/750/30A for Engine 1. The 2014 E-One currently assigned to Engine 1 will be reassigned to Engine 2. Posted in March.

Narragansett, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2021 Dodge Ram 5500/Horton 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 1. The current Rescue 1 will be reassigned to Rescue 2. Posted in July.

Newport, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2021 E-One Typhoon 1250/560/30B for Engine 1. The current 2014 KME will be reassigned to Engine 4. Posted in September.

North Kingstown Fire has taken delivery of a 2021 Ford F-550/PL Custom 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 3. Posted in December.

Providence, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2021 Spartan/Rescue 1 heavy rescue for Special Hazards 1. Posted in June.

Providence, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of four 2021 Pierce Saber pumpers with 1500 GPM pumps and 500 gallon water tanks. They will be assigned to Engine 3, Engine 9, Engine 10 and Engine 15. Posted in June.

Providence, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2021 Pierce Arrow XT 100' mid-mount Ascendant tower for Tower Ladder 1. Posted in August.

Providence, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of four 2021 Pierce 100’ HDL ladder trucks. They will be assigned to Ladder 3, Ladder 5, Ladder 7 and Ladder 8. Posted in October.

Providence Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2021 Ford F-550/Road Rescue 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 2. Posted in November.

Richmond Carolina Fire District, Carolina RI- has taken delivery of a 2020 Freightliner M2 112/2021 Toyne Stainless Steel Tanker. It features a Hale QMax Xs 1500 GPM midship pump and 2000 Gallon UPF tank. Posted in July.

T.F. Green Airport, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2020 Rosenbauer Panther 4x4 2100/1560/210 AFFF/500lbs Purple K/460lbs Halotron ARFF unit for Rescue 304. Posted in August.

Union Fire District, South Kingstown, Rhode Island- has taken delivery of a 2021 Spartan/Rescue 1 20' walk in rescue. Designated Special Hazards 1, it is equipped with a Harrison 20 kw hydraulic generator, Command Light, 4 bottle cascade system w/ a Sierra booster pump, Hannah electrical cord reel, SCBA seating for 6 firefighters, and a small command area. Warwick, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2021 Ford F-550/Horton 4X4 ambulance for Rescue 2. Posted in June.

West Warwick, Rhode Island Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2021 Ford F-550/LifeLine 4X4 ambulance for Rescue 2. The 2015 Chevy ambulance previously assigned has been reassigned to reserve Rescue 4. Posted in April.




2021 RHODE ISLAND APPARATUS & VEHICLE NEWS

Block Island, Rhode Island Fire Department- has on loan a 2003 E-One Typhoon 1250/500 for an extended period of time. It has previously served as Engine 1 and Engine 4 in Belmont, Mass. Posted in August.

Central Coventry recently placed into service a 1996 Spartan/Saulsbury 1500/650 that had previously served in Jonesville, NY. It has been assigned to Engine 5. Posted in December.

Charlestown Rescue, Rhode Island- recently placed into service a 2000 International/E-One 4x4 rescue as Squad 90. It was previously operated by the U.S. Army in South Korea. Posted in August.

Cumberland, Rhode Island Fire Department- has placed into service a 1993 AM General Humvee 4x4 125/275 as Brush 1. They also have a 1995 International/E-One 1250/750/25F that was placed into service as reserve Engine 6. It previously served in Bourne, Mass. Posted in July.

North Providence, Rhode Island Fire Department- has purchased a 1994 Pierce Arrow 105’ RMA for Ladder 2. It previously served in Cambridge, Mass as Ladder 3 and rsv Ladder 5. Posted in September.

Jamestown, Rhode Island Fire Department- recently placed into service a 2013 Pierce Impel 1500/1000/20A CAFS pumper as Engine 3. It had previously served in Parker County, TX. Posted in March.

Lake Mishnock (West Greenwich, RI) Fire Department- recently placed into service a 1991 Pierce Dash Heavy Rescue as Squad 1. It had previously served with the Keystone, PA Fire Company. Posted in October.

Smithfield, Rhode Island Fire Department- has purchased a 1995 E-One Hurricane 1250/1000. The unit previously served in York Beach, Maine. Posted in June.

Tiverton, Rhode Island Fire Department- seeks funding for new ladder truck. CLICK FOR ARTICLE. Posted in January.

Wallum Lake Fire (Burrillville, Rhode Island)- recently placed into service two pieces of apparatus. Engine 61 was assigned a 1993 KME Renegade 1500/1500/25B. It has previously served with the East Brooklyn, CT Fire Department as Engine-Tank 192. Forestry 6 has been assigned a 1967 Kaiser 6x6 200/750 brush unit. That is an additionaly piece of apparatus, complimenting the 1968 Kaiser they already had in service. Posted in May.

Warwick, Rhode Island Fire Department- recently placed into service a 2008 HME/Hensel 1250/618/53F as reserve Engine 13. It has a German Built Body and served with the US Army Fire Brigade in Germany. Posted in April.

West Gloucester, Rhode Island Fire Department- recently acquired a 2001 Freightliner / Central States 2000/750 pumper. Posted in April.

West Greenwich recently placed into service a 2010 E-One Cyclone/2021 Deep South 1500/2500 as Engine 23. Posted in December.
