2022 RHODE ISLAND APPARATUS DELIVERIES (New and Used)

Central Falls Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2022 Dodge Ram 5500/Horton 4X4 ambulance for Rescue 2. The department will now be staffing 2 ambulances full time. Posted in June.

Chepachet Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2022 Dodge Ram 5500/Life Line 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 1. Posted in July.

Cranston Fire has taken delivery of a 2022 Ford F-550/Custom Truck and Body Works ambulance for Rescue 2. Posted in November.

Cranston Fire has remounted the 2015 Frazer ambulance body from former Rescue 5 to a new 2022 Ford F-450 4X4 chassis. It has been assigned to Rescue 4. Posted in December.

Cumberland Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2022 E-One Cyclone 1500/750/30B for Engine 1. Posted in June.

Cumberland Fire Department recently acquired a 2002 E-One Typhoon 1500/1000 for Engine 2. It previously served in Southborough, MA. The department has also placed into service a 2022 Chevrolet 3500HD 4x4 125/230 as Brush 2. Posted in July.

East Providence Fire has placed into service a 2022 Ford F-550/2014 PL Custom ambulance as Rescue 4. The PL Custom box was removed from Rescue 1's former 2014 International and remounted to this new chassis. Posted in February.

Johnston Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2021 Ford F-550/PL Custom 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 3. Posted in April.

Lincoln Fire Department recently purchased a 2003 American LaFrance Eagle heavy rescue for use as a spare Squad. It previously served in Oxford, Mass. Posted in August.

North Kingstown Fire Department recently took delivery of a 2019 International CV/Alexis 4x4 250/300/10F for Brush 1. Posted in April.

North Kingstown Fire has taken delivery of a 2022 Dodge Ram/PL Custom 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 1. Posted in October.

North Providence Fire recently placed into service a 2003 E-One Cyclone II/Saulsbury Heavy Rescue. Designated Squad 12, it will be utilized for technical rescue, special operations and as a decontamination unit. It previously served in Hillsborough County, FL as HR-11 and HR-32. Posted in November.

North Smithfield Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2022 Spartan/Toyne 1500/1000/30A for Engine 2. It replaces as 2000 E-One which will become spare Engine 3. Posted in June.

Pascoag Fire in Burrillville recently placed into service a 1995 Ford F-450/Fire Resources 4x4 150/200/40F as Forestry 4. It had previously served Prudence Island. Posted in June.

Pascoag Fire in Burrillville has taken delivery of a 2022 Freightliner/PL Custom ambulance for Rescue 4. Posted in November.

Pawtucket Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2021 Ford F-550/Horton 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 3. Posted in April.

Pawtucket Fire has taken delivery of a 2022 Ford F-550/Horton 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 1. Posted in April.

Pawtucket Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2022 E-One Typhoon 1500/1000/30A pumper for Engine 3. This is a stock unit and the department also has on order a custom built pumper from E-One still pending construction. Posted in November.

Portsmouth Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2022 Dodge Ram 5500/Horton 4x4 for Rescue 2. The current Rescue 2's 2017 Ford F-550 will be reassigned to Rescue 3 and the current Rescue 3 will be retired. Posted in June.

Providence Tower-Ladder 2's 2007 Pierce 95' Mid-Mount Tower has been removed from service due to frame issues. It is not known if it will/can be repaired, but the company is using a spare truck for the foreseeable future. Posted in June.

Prudence Island Fire Department recently acquired a 1991 E-One Cyclone 1500/750 pumper from the Rhode Island Fire Academy. The pumper originally served with the Sentinel Heights, NY Fire Department prior to being purchased by Smithfield in 2012. It then went to the Fire Academy in 2019. Posted in June.

Quonset Air National Guard Base Fire Department recently placed into service a 2021 Freightliner/Rosenbauer 1250/4000 as Tanker 8. Posted in August.

Rhode Island Fire Academy has taken delivery of a 2021 Pierce Enforcer Ascendant 1500/500 107’ RMA for Ladder 1. Posted in June.

Smithfield Fire Department recently placed into service a 2003 Peterbuilt/1985 Frontline Dive & Tech Rescue truck as Special Hazards 1. The unit previously served in North Scituate, RI. Posted in April.

Smithfield Fire Department recently placed into service a 1995 International/Hackney as the Field Support Unit. It previously served in Rolling Meadows, IL as HazMat Rescue 640. Posted August 2022.

Tiverton Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2020 Rosenbauer Commander Viper 2000/400 109’ RMA for Ladder 2. The unit had previously been a demonstrator unit for Rosenbauer. Posted in April.

Union Fire District in South Kingstown has taken delivery of a 2022 Spartan Metro Star/Smeal pumper. It is powered by a Cummins L9 backed by an Allison 3000EVPR. It is equipped with a Waterous CS 1250 GPM single stage pump and carries 700 gallons of water and a FoamPro 2000 series foam system carrying 20 gallons class A foam. Ladders are enclosed inside the body and AC electricity is provided by a Harrison MCR 6kW hydraulic generator. The new rig has been assigned to Engine 21. Posted in March.

Warwick Fire Department has purchased a 2005 E-One Cyclone II 95' RM Tower. The unit previously served in Watertown, Mass. It has been assigned as Tower 1. Posted in March.

Warwick Fire has taken delivery of two (2) 2022 E-One 1500/780 pumpers for Engine 5 and Engine 8. Posted in December.

West Warwick has approved the purchase of a 2000 Pierce Lance 100' RM Tower. The unit had previously served with the Babylon, NY Fire Department. Posted in April.

Woonsocket Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2021 Spartan/Toyne 1500/750 for Engine 4. The 2007 Spartan currently assigned will become Rsv Engine 8 with the current Engine 8 being disposed of. Posted in April.

Woonsocket Fire Department recently placed into service a 2002 Spartan/Marion 1250/1000 as Rsv Engine 7. It had previously served in East Fishkill, NY. Posted in April.
