STONEHAM FIRE STATION 100th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
OCTOBER 1, 2016

In recognition of the 100th anniversary of the Stoneham Fire Station, a celebratory event was held on October 1, 2016. This event was held in conjunction with the Stoneham Girl Scouts, whom were also celebrating their centennial. The event included a parade, a swearing-in ceremony for five new firefighters, a memorial service, a 9/11 Mobile Memorial Exhibit, and special appearances by two antique pieces of apparatus that once served Stoneham. The Stoneham Boys and Girls Club also provided fun and games to children. Despite the inclement weather, it was a great turnout and a huge success.
