LODD- Warwick Township, PA Fire-Police Officer Louis “Pop Pop” Patti, 67, passed away after suffering a CVA shortly after working at an incident.

LODD- Clarksdale, Miss Captain Willie Ratliff, 66, suffered a medical emergency while working out at the firehouse and passed away. He was only 2 shifts away from retirement.

LODD- Active Duty Somerville, MA Lieutenant Paul Sullivan passed away from occupational cancer.

Retired Deering, NH Assistant Chief Robert Pragoff passed away. He was also a Captain with the New Hampshire Fire Academy.

Retired Waltham, MA Deputy Chief Pasquale R. "Pat" Mula passed away on December 17th.

Bennington, NH Firefighter Firefighter Robert “Bob” Boisvert passed away.

Retired East Greenwich, RI Firefighter George King passed away.

Swansea, Mass Firefighter Brandon Leonardo, 24, passed away.

Active Duty Stamford, CT Firefighter Richard Saunders, 52, passed away due to complications from cancer.

Retired Somers, CT Chief Engineer Harold “Tiny” Parker passed away on December 1st.

Weston, CT Volunteer Fire Captain William "Bill" Gluck passed away at the age of 49.

Retired Lynn, MA Firefighter Donald A. Beliveau passed away at the age of 91.

Bridgeport, CT Retired Fire Captain Ben Murphy has passed away at the age of 104.

Wethersfield, CT former Volunteer Firefighter Keron Larkin has passed away from injuries sustained at a fire at his home on November 18, 2015.

Suffield, CT Fire Commissioner Robert Quagliaroli passed away.

Active Duty- West Greenwich, RI Fire/Rescue Engineer Steven A. Lopes passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on October 27th.

LODD- Plymouth, MA Firefighter Anthony Colarusso passed away from occupational cancer.

Retired Stratford, CT Assistant Chief Joe Cremin passed away.

Retired Malden, MA Firefighter George Hooper passed away.

Retired Hartford, CT Fire Chief John B. Stewart passed away at the age of 85.

Retired Keene, NH Deputy Fire Chief Fred Beauchesne passed away.

Rochester, MA Firefighter/EMT Steven Faustino has passed away after battling cancer.

Richmond, VT Fire Chief Thomas Levesque has passed away at the age of 66.

Branford, CT Deputy Chief Fire Chief Ronald Mullen was killed when he was struck by a commuter train.

Somerville, MA Active Duty Firefighter Robert Quinn of Rescue 1 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 4th.

Retired Topsfield, MA Fire Chief Ronald H. Giovannacci has passed away at the age of 82.

Former Mass State Fire Marshal Joseph A. O'Keefe passed away on September 14 at the age of 82.

Bristol, RI Deputy Fire Chief Frank J. Sousa, 50, was killed in an automobile accident on Thursday August 27th.

West Haven, CT Firefighter Chris O'Keefe, 49, passed away suddenly on August 29th.

Massachusetts State Police Trooper David M. Timperio, 50, assigned to the Government Center Barracks passed away suddenly. Trooper Timperio was a member of the 75th Recruit Training Troop, which graduated from the State Police Academy in December 2000. During his career, he also served assignments at the Leominster and Boston Barracks and served for more than seven years in the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit (CARS). While a member of CARS, Trooper Timperio reconstructed numerous car crashes involving serious or fatal injuries, and helped hold reckless or negligent motorists who caused the crashes accountable and helped seek justice for the crash victims. Trooper Timperio leaves a wife and two children. He was the brother in-law of Deputy Chief Michael Morrissey of Cambridge Fire, Retired Chief Morrissey of Nashua Fire and Billy Morrissey of Watertown Fire. His fathering-law was the late Lieutenant Bob Morrissey of Cambridge fire.

Retired Northbridge, MA Fire Chief Whitinsville-Cornelius “Con” J. Madigan, 83, passed away on August 18th.

Retired Worcester, MA Lieutenant William T. McGuirk, 76, passed away on August 5th.

Retired Chelsea, MA Firefighter Robert Martinello passed away.

Retired Hartford, CT Lieutenant Edward P Garrahy passed away.

Former Bucksport, ME Fire Chief Paul McCann passed away on August 3rd at the age of 84.

Wolfgang Schiessl, Past Chief and 63 year member of the Somers, CT Fire Department, passed away after a battle with cancer on Friday, July 31 at age 80.

Active Duty Norton, MA Lieutenant Todd Jones, 42, passed away unexpectedly while camping.

Waltham, MA Auxiliary Firefighter Scott Raines passed away from cancer. He had served on the auxiliary for 4 decades.

Box 52 Member Robert E. "Bob" Carpenter of Burlington passed away on July 28th.

Box 52 Exempt member and Past President Sherman M. Hunt, Jr of Lynn passed away on July 27th.

Retired Wakefield, MA Firefighter James M. Greelish passed away.

West Dover, VT long time volunteer firefighter William "Buzzy" Buswell passed away.

Long time Glastonbury, CT volunteer firefighter Warren Bantle passed away at the age of 80.

Hinsdale, MA Volunteer Firefighter Nicholas A. Daniels, 26, was killed in an automobile accident.

Harwinton, CT Volunteer Firefighter/Fire Police Collin Fox passed away.

Retired Newport, RI Deputy Chief Peter R. “Boo” Booth passed away on July 4th at the age of 65.

Retired Sandwich, MA Fire Chief Ferdinand (Freddie) Alvezi passed away on June 2nd.

Retired Newton, MA Firefighter Joseph Silva passed away on June 9th at the age of 67.

LODD- Boston, MA Firefighter Scott M. Salman passed away from occupational cancer.

Medford, MA Active Duty Firefighter Timmothy Brennan passed away suddenly.

Harwinton, CT Vol Fire Department long time member Donald Wilkins has passed away. Don served several terms as a Commissioner and was a past Captain of the Fire Police.

Retired Framingham, MA Deputy Fire Chief Charles "Chuck" Pillarella, 75, passed away on Tuesday May 19th.

Retired Berlin, NH Fire Chief Norman Lacroix, 92, passed away on May 20th.

Lieutenant James Harrington, 41, of the Central Coventry Fire District in Coventry, RI passed away from cancer.

Haverhill, Mass Fire Chief Richard B. Borden was found dead in his home on Sunday May 17th.

Active Duty Southboro, MA Firefighter/Paramedic Kenneth Strong passed away suddenly at his home on May 7th.

Retired Boston, MA Firefighter Robert C. Reynolds passed away.

Alan Washburn, owner of Southern VT Sprinkler, passed away from cancer.

Retired Sharon, MA Deputy Chief Steve Cummings passed away on April 16. Steve was a good friend of mine as well as a friend of the fire service in general. He frequented many firematic events as well as visited fire station across Massachusetts for photographs and to record apparatus information. He was one of a kind and his absence will be sorely missed.

Cranston, RI Firefighter Kevin M. Cullinan, 56, passed away after suffering a heart attack at home.

U.S. Army Corporal John M. Dawson, 22, from Northbridge, MA was killed in action on April 8, 2015.

Retired Francestown, NH Fire Chief Clifton F. Foote, 88, passed away on Monday April 13th.

LODD- Hull, MA Firefighter Raymond Thomas passed away from occupational cancer.

Halifax, Mass Firefighter Bruce Wood was killed in an automobile accident in Plympton. He was a 43 year member of the department.

Edmund M. Campion, Jr. of Campion Ambulance in Connecticut has passed away unexpectedly at the age of 64.

Retired Medway, MA Fire Chief Jerome Hanlon passed away.

Retired Melrose, MA Fire Chief Frank A. Zinck Jr passed away.

Retired Eastham, MA Captain Brian Edmunds passed away.

Retired Bridgewater, MA Fire Chief Clarence Levy passed away at the age of 87.

Retired Chelsea, MA Acting Captain Harvey C. Raley Jr passed away.

Active duty Stoneham, MA Firefighter Eric Bernat passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on March 17th.

Active Paramedic John Mccaffrey has passed away. He has worked in Massachusetts for Action Ambulance, AMR and Cataldo Ambulance.

Fall River, MA Firefighter Adam Franco has passed away from brain cancer.

Whitefield, ME Volunteer Lieutenant/EMT David Mason succumbed to cancer on March 6th. He was just 26 years old.

Retired Deerfield, NH Fire Chief George F. Clark, 86, passed away on Februrary 28, 2015. George's love for the Town of Deerfield was evident. George was the director of the Deerfield Fair Association from 1947 until he retired in 2014. He was a member of the Deerfield Volunteer Fire Department for 67 years, serving as its chief for 37 years from 1960 till 1997. George was also on the board of directors at the Inn At Deerfield. He was a mechanic for the NH Army National Guard for 41 years and retired at the rank of sergeant (E-7).

Retired Hartford, CT Fire Prevention Deputy Chief/Fire Marshal Carl Booker has passed away. Deputy Booker served the Hartford Fire Department from March 3, 1958 until his retirement on March 3, 1989.

Retired Boston Lieutenant Charles R. Messina Jr has passed away.

Active Duty EMT Matthew J. King of Boston EMS passed away.

Former Central Coventry, RI Fire Chief Andrew J. Baynes, 65, passed away unexpectedly while in Florida on February 17th. The former fire chief, college professor and U.S. Coast Guard veteran leaves behind his wife, Anne Baynes, to whom he was happily married for 40 years.

Retired Wakefield, MA Firefighter Arthur C. List has passed away at the age of 96.

Active Billerica, MA Firefighter David Silva was killed in an off-duty accident.

Old Saybrook, CT- It is with a deep mourning that the Old Saybrook Fire Dept announces the passing of Past Chief David G. Heiney Sr #273. Past Chief Heiney joined the Old Saybrook Fire Dept on April 6, 1976. He moved through the ranks serving as Captain, 2nd Assistant Chief, 1st Assistant Chief, Deputy Chief and as Chief of Department from January 5, 1999 through January 2, 2002. He was very active in the Fire Dept currently serving as Trustee and as Chairman of the Committee responsible for the New Engine 352 which is soon to arrive in town.

Retired- John "Jack" Sullivan, Jr., 75, of Ridgefield, a retired career captain, former volunteer fire chief, and forty-three year member of the Ridgefield Fire Department died on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 10:15am. at St. Mary Church, 55 Catoonah St., Ridgefield. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Ridgefield. The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. Retired Providence, RI Lieutenant and State Deputy Fire Marshal James T. Burns, Jr has passed away at the age of 90.

Retired Rockland, MA Firefighter Tony Delprete has passed at the age of 94.

Active Duty Gloucester, MA Acting Lieutenant Philip Bouchie has passed away.

Active Duty New Haven, CT Firefighter Linda Cohens was found unconscious with injuries outside her home while off duty. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Retired Rutland Town, VT Firefighter Ray McCarthy has passed away.

Retired Revere, MA Firefighter Pat Tata passed away on January 2, 2015.

Pittston, ME Vol Firefighter William Ernest "Bill" Hubert passed away at the age of 72. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran. Click for obituary.

LODD- Mount Marion, NY Vol Firefighter Jack Rose, 19, went into distress at a fire. He went unconscious and was unable to be revived.

LODD- Powell, TX Firefighter Stacy Crawford, 47, passed away after collapsing during training.

LODD- No. 7 Township, NC Firefighter Sid Winer, 92, passed away from injuries received in a collision.

LODD- Chicago, IL Firefighter Daniel Capuano, 42, was killed when he fell down an elevator shaft battling a fire in a warehouse.

LODD- Matteson, IL Firefighter Mark Zielinski, 49, passed away after collapsing while performing CPR.

LODD- Calvert City, KY Assistant Fire Chief Terry "TC" Culver passed away after being hospitalized for 2 weeks when he was injured while responding to a call on November 12th.

LODD- Protection Fire Co #1, NJ Deputy Chief Thomas Kolarick, 59, collapsed at the firehouse after an incident and passed away at the hospital.

LODD- Detroit, MI Fire Sergeant Vince Smith, 49, passed away after having a medical emergency at the firehouse.

LODD- Detroit, MI Captain Walter Szelag collapsed from a heart attack while on duty and passed away.

LODD- Lone Camp, TX Volunteer Firefighter Larry O'Neil passed away after suffering a medical emergency while on a call.

LODD- Kansas City, MO Firefighter Larry J. Leggio and Firefighter John V. Mesh were both killed in a collapse at a structure fire.

John David Friis, 54, passed away peacefully October 6, 2015 at his home with his family at his side. John was born in Bethesda, MD and was a retired Navy Aviation Electrician (AE1) and was a retired Captain with the Navy Regional Mid Atlantic Fire Department. He was a former resident of Virginia Beach where he had been a Virginia Beach volunteer fireman and was an honorary Captain in the Franklin Fire and Rescue. John was a member of the International Association of Firefighters and a contributing editor to Fire Apparatus Journal.

LODD- Casnovia Township, MI Firefighter Richard L. Crosby, 67, passed away after suffering a heart attack at a fire scene.

LODD- Paramus, NJ Firefighter Shawn M. Benson, 50, was found unresponsive several hours after responding to an alarm and was unable to be revived.

LODD- Burton Fire District, SC Firefighter/EMT Stuart Hardy, 31, passed away after suffering a medical emergency at car accident.

LODD- Santee Circle, SC Battalion Chief Maywood Gaskins, 56, fell ill after a department training drill. The ambulance transporting him to the hospital crashed enroute.

LODD- Lansing, MI Firefighter Dennis Rodeman, 35, was stuck and killed (possibly on purpose) by a motorist while participating in fill the boot for MDA.

LODD- Locke Township, NC Lieutenant Chris Phillips, 42, died several hours after responding to a fatal car accident.

LODD- St. Paul, MN Firefighter Shane Clifton, 38, collapsed at the station and subsequently passed away.

LODD- Sayville, NY Fire Chief Lawrence Sesso, 40, collapsed and died on August 22nd after fighting a fire at a commercial building and participating in a parade.

LODD- Brasstown, NC Fire Chief JD Robinson, 59, was found unresponsive while on a detail at the racetrack and was unable to be revived.

LODD- Pine Level Fire Company, NC Firefighter Chris Daniels, 40, was found unresponsive after responding to a call and was unable to be revived.

LODD- U.S. Forest Service Firefighter Michael Hallenbeck, 21, was killed by a falling tree during wildfire firefighting operations in El Dorado County.

LODD- U.S. Forest Service Firefighter David Ruh from Rapid City, SD died on July 30th while responding to the Frog fire in the Modoc National Forest.

LODD- Columbia, SC Firefighter Tyron Weston, 51, passed away on 7/26/15 after falling ill on July 3rd.

LODD- North Carolina Air National Guard Fire Captain Alan Hicks, 44, passed away at the station on July 27th. After working at a house fire earlier in the day, he had reported that he didn't feel well. He was found in the bunkroom later that shift.

LODD- Wildland Firefighter Terry Sonner, 33, collapsed and was unable to be revived after a training evolution.

LODD- Pine Lake, WI Volunteer Firefighter Dale J. Wege, 59, was found dead at home after responding to a medical call.

LODD- Mount Zion, AL Captain James Donald “Donnie” Keith, 59, went into cardiac arrest after responding to sevaral calls.

LODD- Williamsburg Township, OH Lieutenant David Knapke, 55, passed away after suffering a heart attack at a fire scene on May 30th.

LODD- Veteran Fire Corps Firefighter Ian Haxton, 31, of Arizona suffered a medical emergency and passed away while taking the wildland firefighter test.

LODD- Circleville, PA Firefighter Wille O. Sensenich, 69, passed away several hours after responding to an incident.

LODD- Beachwood Vol. Fire Company #1, NJ Firefighter Thomas Miserendino, 71, was stricken at an event on May 25th and has passed away.

LODD- Claremore, OK Captain Jason Farley drowned after being swept away while attending a water rescue.

Retired Torrington, CT Fire Marshal Edward J. "Bud" Zeiner passed away at the age of 92.

LODD- Pine Grove Hook and Ladder CO, PA Firefighter Tim Peters, 47, fell ill and died after responding to a call.

LODD- Portage des Sioux, MO Firefighter Larry Lawhorn, 60, suffered a medical emergency while responding to a call and passed away.

LODD- Madison County, TN Firefighter Chris Blankenship was killed by a falling tree while working at a motor vehicle accident.

LODD- Swainsboro, GA Lieutenant Ricky Thurman, 54, has passed away after collapsing and going into caridac arrest at a fire scene in April. He was revived on scene and remained in critical condition at the hospital until his death.

LODD- Poughkeepsie, NY Firefighter Timothy Gunther, 54, passed away from cardiac related issues he suffered during a fire.

LODD- Washington D.C. Lieutenant Kevin McRae collapsed and died while working at a fire scene.

LODD- FDNY Firefighter Greg Chevalley of Ladder 176 passed away on April 24, 2015 from lung cancer that was a result from working at the site of the World Trade Center in 2001.

LODD- Firefighter Mike Corn, 68, of the Conway Springs, KS Fire Department collapsed and died while donning his gear to go on a call.

LODD- Dakota City, NE Firefighter Andrew "Andy" Zalme, 42, collapsed and died at an emergency scene.

LODD- Wrightsville, PA Fire/Police Lieutenant Curtis "Curt" Nordsick passed away after becoming sick while directing traffic.

LODD- Fire Police Captain John J. Doster, 95, of the Edgely Fire Company No. 10 in Levittown, PA has died more than a month after he fell ill while directing traffic at fire on February 25th. He had served as a volunteer firefighter for 82 years.

LODD- Cincinnati, OH Firefighter Daryl Gordon, 54, was killed after he fell down an elevator shaft at a 4-alarm fire.

LODD- Ashland, Miss Firefighter John Shoup, 38, suffered a fatal heart attack after fighting a fire.

LODD- Lawrence Township Vol Firefighter Jeffrey Buck, 18, passed away from injuries received on March 3rd when a porch he was standing on collapsed.

LODD- Allen, KY Fire Chief Billy R. Jarvis suffered a heart attack on March 4 while responding to a call and passed away on March 10.

LODD- Fighter/EMT Michael Todd "Boots" Harris of the Roanoake, VA Fire Department.

LODD- Rice Lake Twp, MN Firefighter Randy Hiti, 57, suffered a medical emergency while on a run and was unable to be revived.

LODD- Somerset, PA Firefighter Edward Roddy, 48, has passed away after being hospitalized since November 5th when he was stricken while fighting a fire.

LODD- Sandy Springs, SC Firefighter Kenneth Stanton, 52, was struck and killed by a vehicle that drove around a tow truck while working at an auto accident.

LODD- Fire Chief Kenneth Lehr, 59, of the Medora Fire Protection District in IL was struck and killed by a fire truck.

LODD- Caney, KS Firefighter Clifford Sanders, 55, collapsed of an apparent stroke while at the firehouse preparing to go on a call. He passed away while being treated at a hospital.

LODD- Centerville, IA Assistant Chief Mike Cooper passed away from a heart attack shortly after going home from a fire scene.

LODD- Montgomery, NY Volunteer Firefighter Charlie Wallace, 74, was stuck and killed by a motor vehicle.

LODD- Garden City, KS Firefighter Ronnie Peek, 49, suffered a fatal heart attack during air pack training.

LODD- Los Angeles County Fire Department Ocean Lifeguard Specialist Brian Kutil, 42, was participating in a training exercise when he suffered a medical emergency and passed away.

LODD- South Metropolitan Fire Protection District, Raymore MO, Battalion Chief Christopher A. Tindall, 41, passed away from a medical emergency not long after responding to a call.
