Up the stairs they go into the fire, How do they do that run into a burning building when everyone is running out Saving complete strangers, Putting their lives on the line every day to save someone that they don’t even know, What they do is incredible some people don’t know how they do it, Risk their lives to save complete strangers that you and I may pass on the street, And not know their name or even where they are from, People may call them heroes for what they do but they don’t consider themselves a hero They just say that they are doing their jobs, but they will risk their lives every day to save People that they don’t even know, That are in need of a hero to save them And that is incredible. – Sam MacConnell |
